The shaman or wanderer/adventurer who individuates beyond the confines of his ‘world’, tribe, community, is an octave above this. Similar fractally. The hero and shaman are internal/external adventurers stealing knowledge, bartering, communing with strange gods in other worlds; this carries tribal Will outward, or brings new Will into the tribe. Culture, memes, resemble genetics quite perfectly. Healthy evolution follows a meta pattern in all regard, inbred cultures which refuse to confront the greater World will fall apart, locked in their bubble they run out of air. Everything that is, follows the pattern of yin and yang, in breath and out breath, male and female.

Artemis is an Eldest Daughter/Old Soul type. She and her brother were in the womb too long because Hera forced her mother to remain in labor; she climbed out first and then immediately helped deliver her brother. She understands childbirth (from the perspective of child and midwife) mostly as *relief*. She loves babies.

Athena was her father’s idea. He was experimenting with alternative womb tech out of a desire to eliminate the mothering bit (sometimes literally swallowing the mother). Anat was born out of his head as a result.

She already stands awkwardly apart from nature due to her origins, and has a rivalry with Ares for supremacy in war. Ares loves sweat and roaring pulses and good old-fashioned fisticuffs; Athena develops technē which renders these things obsolete.
